The PCB factory sets up test points to test whether the components on the circuit board conform to specifications and weldability. For example, they want to check the resistor on a circuit board to see if there is any problem. The easiest way is to measure both ends by multimeter.
But in mass-produced factories, it's impossible to measure every resistor, capacitor, inductor, or even IC circuit on each board with a meter. So the ICT (In-Circuit-Test) appears, which uses Bed-Of-Nails to touch all the parts on the board. Then the characteristics of electronic parts are measured sequentially by programming, mainly by sequence, and by juxtaposition. It takes only about 1 to 2 minutes to test all the parts. It depends on the number of parts on the circuit board, the more parts the longer.
But if you put probes in direct contact with the electronic parts on the board or the soldering pins, it's likely to crush some of the electronic parts. So there's a test point that leads to an extra pair of circular dots at both ends of the part. There is no mask. It can get the probe for the test to come into contact with these dots.
