PCB Knowledge:

The double sided PCB board needs to be packed in a colorless plastic bag in vacuum, and the bag should be packed with desiccant and keep packing tight. It should not contact with air and water to avoid the surface deposition of PCB circuit board, tin spray and pad oxidation will affect the welding, which is not good to production.

Under such conditions, the PCB with surface treatment such as Immersion gold, electric gold, HASL and silver plating can generally be stored for 6 months. Surface treated PCB boards such as OSP and Immersion silver can generally be stored for 3 months.

For long time unused PCB circuit board, it is best to brush a layer of conformal coating. The conformal coatings can prevent moisture, dust and oxidation. In this way, the storage life of the PCB circuit board will be increased to 9 months.( pcb products)
