It is well known that the distributed capacitance of the wiring on a printed circuit board works at high frequencies. Antenna effect will occur when the length is more than 1 / 20 of the corresponding wavelength of the noise frequency. The noise is emitted outward through the wiring, and if there is bad ground coated copper in the PCB, the copper clad becomes a tool for transmitting noise. So in high frequency circuits, the ground wire is not only connected to the ground somewhere.If it is properly treated, copper clad not only increases the current, but also acts as a shield against interference.
There are generally two basic ways of copper clad which is large area copper clad and grid copper. It is often asked whether large area copper clad or grid copper clad is good, it can't be generalized. Large area copper clad, it has the dual function of increasing current and shielding. But large area copper clad, if the wave soldering, the board may be twisted, or even foaming. Therefore, large area copper clad generally will open a few slots, it eases the foaming copper foil.( electronic pcb board)
